WSU Online Catalog

The catalog holds a record for each item in the University Libraries collection. The collection contains physical items (such as books, videos, and maps) and electronic items (such as websites and electronic books). Use the Call Numbers (which are like addresses) to locate items stored in the library. If you are not sure where to find materials, ask at the Help Desk or click here for a Floor Guide.

Electronic Databases

Use electronic databases to search for citations, abstracts, and the full text of articles published in professional journals. Databases are based on broad subject areas such as biology (Biological Abstracts) and medicine (MEDLINE).

Printing a Hard Copy
in Ablah Library

Step 1: When you select "Print," you will be prompted to give your print job a name. Give it a name that is easy to remember (such as your own).
Step 2: Go to any print station in Ablah Library. Stations are located on each floor.
Step 3: Insert your Shocker Card into the card reader. Each printed page is $.07. You can add money to your Shocker Card at the Circulation Desk or at the Value Added Machine by the Reserves entrance. If you do not have your Shocker Card, you can buy a copy card at the Circulation Desk or from the card machine by the Reserves entrance.
Step 4: All the documents in the print queue will appear on the monitor. Use the mouse to highlight your document and press "Print." As your document is printed, $.07 per page will be deducted from your Shocker Card.
Step 5: Remember to take your printed document and your Shocker Card from the card reader.

If you have any questions or problems with printing, ask at the Help Desk.
