 2. Using Wilson Web, select the General Science
 Full Text database to find a research article about
 your subject.

 A.  Do a Basic Search for your subject and choose a "Peer
 Reviewed" article.

 B.  Link to the library collection to see if the library has a
 print or electronic copy of the periodical containing your
 article.

Remember the catalog contains periodical titles, not
article titles. The catalog tracks book titles, not chapter titles.

     B1.  If the library has a print copy of the periodical, locate
     and copy the call number and location of the periodical
     containing the article.
 
     B2.  If the library has an electronic copy of the periodical,
     locate the URL for the periodical and copy it

The URL is the address of the periodical in the libraries subscription of the database.

   
 C.  Print the citation and the abstract of the article from the
 database.

Printers are located throughout the library. Printers print the job where ever you insert your Shocker card.

   
 D.  If the article is in print, then locate and photocopy the
 article. If the article is electronic, then print a copy. Turn in
 the copy of the article with your assignment.

Photocopiers are on every floor of Ablah library.

   
 E.  Write a one-paragraph summary of the article.  
   
 F.  Arrange the bibliographic information in the Name-Year citation
 format (CSE style) as described in McMillan, pp153-160 and shown in this example:  Bousfield GR, Ward DN. 1992. Reduction and reoxidation of equine gonadotropin alpha-subunits. Endocrinology. 131:2986 - 2998.
 
   
 G.  In the same format, give the citation for one reference used by the article you read.
