1. Using the appropriate secondary resource find introductory information about your subject.

Suggested list of secondary sources. (Also, look at the list in the Biology Research Guide). These materials are in print, in the Reference section on the first floor of Ablah library

   
A.  Do a title search for the resource of your choice in the WSU catalog. Identify the location and call number which gives you the precise location in the library.

- The catalog can be found here. A help file on use of the catalog is also available below the search box. The call number is the address of the book in the library.

   
B.  Find your subject in the source you have chosen. Consult the index or terms related to your topic if you are having difficulty finding a very specific term/topic.  
   
C.  Write a two or three sentence description for your subject based on the information in your source.
