Assistant/Associate Professor and Government Information Librarian

The Wichita State University Libraries (http://library.wichita.edu/) invites applications for the position of Government Information Librarian, a twelve-month, tenure-eligible position at the assistant/associate professor level. The successful candidate will participate in a full range of library services, including reference, instruction, collection development, and outreach. The Government Information Librarian will assume a leadership role for the U.S. Federal Depository library, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Depository, and State of Kansas documents; serve as a resource specialist for traditional and electronic federal, state and municipal publications; provide specialized and general reference service; supervise support staff; and provide consultation and training for the greater community in order to meet the mission of our urban-serving university.  Click here for a complete position description.

Salary and Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience and education. Twelve-month contract; professional development support, vacation, and benefits including TIAA-CREF.
