The Music Library contains many LP (Long Playing) recordings with valuable performances, many not available on compact disc or in any other format.

LPs are found in inner plastic or paper sleeves.  Keep LPs in their inner and outer sleeves when not in use.  Please slide discs in and out of inner sleeves with a minimum of pressure and contact.

Hold an LP by the edge of the disc, and sometimes by the label, only.  Avoid touching the grooved surface as fingerprints attract dust and dirt and will negatively impact sound quality over time.

For further information regarding the LP collection and using the turntables, please see the Library Assistant or the Music/Fine Arts Librarian.
