WSU Libraries subscribe to a variety of print and electronic journals relevant to Public Health sciences. You can find health journals in the following ways:

  • To find print and electronic journals, search the WSU Online Catalog under “Journal Title.” You can also click “Set More Limits” and select under item type “Serial,” then search by keyword. If the journal is electronic, an access link will be in the record. If the journal is in print, the record will show you which volumes are available and where they are located (Current Periodicals for new issues, or the stacks for older, bound issues).
  • To find full-text electronic journals, click “E-journals” on the library home page. Search or browse journals by title or browse journals by subject (select “Health & Biological Sciences ” for a list of Health-related journals).
  • To find journals in print, browse the library shelves in the call number range of your subject. For instance, if you need journals on nursing, search in the RT section and if you need journals on public aspects of medicine, search in the RA section.

IMPORTANT: When searching for journals, pay close attention to the dates of coverage, as they vary. Make sure WSU subscribes to the issue you need. If the issue is not available at WSU, order your article through interlibrary loan (ILLiad).
