Connect to local, state, national, and international newspapers including the Wichita Eagle. In addition to the electronic news sources cited below, WSU Libraries maintains print subscriptions to 20 daily newspapers, as well as archival microfilm for over 100 other newspapers. Search the Online Catalog by "journal title" for specific print newspapers.

InfoTrac Custom Newspapers is a web-based full text database that allows you to search by title, author, headline, section, date, and more from newspapers around the world.  Searching can be done by relevance, keyword, or advanced search methods.  Click here to view a complete list of all of the papers that are currently offered, as well as the start date of inclusion

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe
Lexis-Nexis provides full-text access to a wide variety of sources - newspapers and magazine articles, business news, legal materials, medical information and general reference sources. Use the "Guided News Search" form to enter specific search terms and/or select from a Source List of specific newspapers and other sources.

National Newspaper Index
National Newspaper Index provides quick access to the indexing of America's top five newspapers in one seamless search: The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post. Retrieves citations to news articles, not full-text. WSU Libraries has current print issues as well as microfilm archives for the The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Christian Science Monitor as well as current print issues of The Washington Post.
