Database Description: The MLA International Bibliography, produced by the Modern Language Association of America, consists of bibliographic records pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore, and includes coverage from 1963 to the present. The MLA International Bibliography provides access to scholarly research in over 3,000 journals and series. It also covers relevant monographs, working papers, proceedings, bibliographies, and other formats. Approximately 75% of the records are journal articles. Literary works and translations are included only if they are accompanies by critical or bibliographical apparatus or notes. Book reviews are not covered; however, review articles that give a general survey of subject area are included. The remainder include single-author monographs, book chapter fro multi-author works, and book series.

Database Description: The WSU Libraries has purchased over 7,000 e-books from netLibrary as part of a collection shared with libraries in Kansas and eleven other states through BCR, a nonprofit library cooperative. E-books are electronic versions of printed books and can be viewed online from any terminal connected to the Internet. The WSU Libraries' e-book collection is available to all on-campus users as well as off-campus to WSU-affiliated students, faculty, and staff. The Wichita State University eBook Collection is a collection of over 6000 copyrighted e-books purchased and shared by libraries in Kansas and eleven other states through BCR, a nonprofit library cooperative. WSU Libraries does not have exclusive use of the collection. The titles in this collection have been added to the WSU Libraries Online Catalog. The Public Collection is a collection of nearly 4000 e-books that are in the public domain or are available from publishers for free distribution to the public. The collection is focused on the classics in literature and history and includes titles available through Project Gutenberg, one of the first electronic text projects on the Internet.

Database Description: The Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC) was established in 1973 by the Coaching Association of Canada to serve as a comprehensive reference library for all aspects of sport, physical fitness, sport science and recreation.
