Each month,
the WSU Libraries features
a "Resource of the Month" designed to highlight new, interesting,
under-used, large,
unique, or otherwise noteworthy collections and
resources. You can learn more about the RoM on this website, from the display in the
reference area, by attending a
workshop (if available), or by contacting the Reference Desk at 978-3584.

Audio books, music, and more! is a
digital download service from the State
Library of Kansas.
Use your myWSUid
and password instead of the Kansas State
Library card to check-out audio books,
music, and digital videos!
Some items are available to burn to CD
and
MP3 files which
play on virtually any MP3 player including
the iPod®
and the Zune®.
Click here or a list
of
compatible portable devices.
New features
include: Select your loan
period, Star Ratings, ability to transfer WMA Audio books to Apple®
devices, and improved transfer and burn options.

workshops are free and although registration is not necessary to attend,
it helps assure there are enough handouts. If you would like to
bring your laptop and MP3 player, you are welcome to do so. For more information or to

Quick Reference Guide for Downloading MP3s
How Do I Access Audio books,
music and more!?
There
is a link on the WSU Libraries' website under Electronic
Resources / E-books. This is open to Kansas residents
only and now you can use your myWSUid to check-out
items. You can also use your
Kansas State Library Card. Pick up your
State Library Card at the WSU Libraries’ Circulation
desk. Using the OverDrive software, which is free, you
can download digital media to your computer, transfer to
a portable device, or burn to CD. Set the loan period
that works best for your schedule, with a maximum of 10 items being checked out at one
time.
