PUBLICATION SCHEDULE

The current issues of Value Line are contained in two volumes on Index Table 7. The larger binder (part one of the set) contains the company and industry pages. The smaller binder (part two of the set) contains the Selection & Opinion newsletter. Value Line issues from 1978 through 1979 are available on Microfilm #774. For issues beginning in 1980 and up to the current issues see Microfiche #2429.

Value Line is published in thirteen editions. Each edition is made up of two parts, and a new edition is issued weekly. For example:

Jan. 1 : Edition 1

Jan. 8 : Edition 2

Jan. 15 : Edition 3

At the beginning of each quarter of the year the numbering sequence begins again with Edition 1. When a new edition is issued, it replaces the previous edition with the same number in the binder. Thus at any one time the current Value Line binder contains editions ranging in age from one to thirteen weeks.

ARRANGEMENT

Companies are grouped together by industry and individual companies always appear in the same edition. For example, the section Chemicals (General) is always contained in Edition 8. Thus, general chemical companies and the accompanying industry analysis are always contained in Edition 8. Understanding this arrangement is helpful when using older issues of Value Line on microfilm or microfiche.
