ACM Digital Library--Full-text access to the journals, newsletters, and conference proceedings published by the Association of Computing Machinery.

Applied Science and Technology Abstracts--One of the WilsonWeb databases.  Indexes journal articles in the applied sciences and all engineering fields from 1983 to the present.  Broader scope makes this a good source for undergraduate research.

INSPEC--indexes journal articles, conference papers, technical reports, books/book chapters, product reviews, and dissertations in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computer science, and information technology from 1969 to the present (help guide).

IEEE Xplore--Fulltext access to all IEEE journals and magazines from 1998 to the present.  IEEE Xplore offers a search interface that indexes IEEE journals/magazines, conference proceedings and standards.  Only citations are available for articles published before 1998, ALL conference proceedings and ALL standards (help guide).

Computer Database--Infotrac database includes journal articles on computer-related product introductions, news, and reviews in areas such as hardware, software, electronics, engineering, communications and the application of technology 1998-present.  Some fulltext available (help guide).

Engineering Village 2 / Compendex--Collection of engineering databases.  Compendex indexes engineering and applied science journals and conferences from 1970 to the present.  Fields of engineering most heavily covered include: chemical, computers, applied physics, electronics and communication, civil, and mechanical engineering (help guide).

ACM (Association of Computing Machinery

Collection of Computer Science Bibliographies--indexes journal articles, conference papers, and technical reports in most areas of computer science. Simple and Advanced search options. Includes links to some fulltext items.

EEVL--Internet guide to engineering, mathematics, and computer science on the Web: fulltext e-journals, UK engineering sites, newsgroups, etc. Includes search/browse features.

IEEE (Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers)

Free On-Line Dictionary of Computing--searchable dictionary.
